Utilizes forklift to slot and move products as necessary. Backs up other Quality Control Specialists. Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To • Inspects and audits all incoming produce and slotted produce items • Verifies packaging, labeling, lot coding of all produce/ food items received. • Validates pre-shipment review. • Perform daily ATP swabs to verify sanitation • Understands and follows material hold release program • Effectively uses Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS for inter-department communication. • Follows GMP’s at all times • Team Member of the Safety Team Qualifications Core Knowledge/Skills • Communicate effectively upstream and downstream with TMs • Commitment to quality • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping • HACCP knowledge Required Skills and Experience • Ability to work in refrigerated environment, 35 – 45 degrees • Proven experience in produce quality and shelf life • Proven experience using standup and or sit down forklift and pallet jack equipment • Ability to work without direct supervision and to prioritize activities under pressure • Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment • Ability to actively engage in continuous improvement activities • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test Additional Information Supplemental Information This employer participates in E-Verify and will provide the Social Security Administration and if necessary, the Department of Homeland Security with information from each new employee's Form I-9 to confirm work authorization.
