Account Manager & Renewals – DOD (Inside Sales / Account Coordinator) 💰 Pay: $65,000–$75,000 base + commissions ($80K–$150K+ OTE) 🏠 Location: 100% Remote (EST or CST preferred – DC/MD/VA Preferred) 📅 Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm EST About the Company A woman-owned Federal IT reseller and Cisco Gold Certified Partner is seeking an Account Manager & Renewals Specialist to support their Department of Defense (DOD) practice. The company provides cybersecurity and network infrastructure solutions to Federal agencies and has been expanding rapidly due to sustained growth in its DOD business. This is a full-time remote role supporting multiple Account Executives and handling quotes, renewals, and fulfillment for major OEM and distributor partners. The Role The Account Manager & Renewals (Inside Sales / Account Coordinator) acts as a critical support partner for Federal DOD Account Executives, managing pricing, quotes, deal registration, and order fulfillment. This position is not a cold-calling or quota-carrying role — it’s ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who enjoys supporting a Federal sales team and working behind the scenes to ensure smooth delivery of complex IT orders. Key Responsibilities • Support multiple DOD Account Executives with quotes, renewals, and fulfillment • Create and manage quotes using Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) • Register deals with OEMs and distributors • Book and track orders in QuickBooks (or similar system) • Coordinate purchasing, order tracking, and billing • Work closely with OEMs and distributors (e.g., Ingram, Carahsoft) • Respond to RFQs for Federal contract vehicles (GSA, SEWP V, CIO-CS, FBO, SPAWAR) • Track renewals and pipeline activities in Salesforce (SFDC) • Ensure TAA compliance, UID labeling, and accurate pricing documentation Requirements ✅ Experience • 5+ years in inside sales, account management, or renewals support • 2+ years working with Federal (DOD or Civilian) accounts for a VAR, OEM, or Systems Integrator • Proven success supporting outside sales reps or Federal Account Executives ✅ Technical Skills • Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) – quoting, pricing, deal registration • Salesforce (SFDC) – daily experience required • QuickBooks or similar for order entry and processing • Experience with RFQs, SEWP portal, and Federal contract vehicles ✅ Preferred Background • Previous experience at or with Cisco Gold Partners, such as: • Red River • World Wide Technology • N2Grate • Sycor • Copper River • Force 3, or other Federal IT resellers • Familiarity with distributors like Ingram Micro and Carahsoft • Knowledge of DOD agency workflows and procurement processes Compensation & Growth • OTE range: $80K–$150K+, depending on performance, bump every year by 10%! • Long-term growth potential to move into Account Executive roles or increase base salary with tenure Ideal Candidate Traits • Detail-oriented and highly organized • Comfortable managing quotes, renewals, and fulfillment from start to finish • Works well with remote teams and multiple stakeholders • Understands Cisco pricing, configuration, and registration processes • Prefers supporting roles rather than cold-calling or prospecting Ready to join a top-tier Federal IT reseller and support mission-critical DOD programs?
