The Role This is a critical role in expanding our commercial footprint across New York. As the Sales & Account Manager, you will drive both new business and strategic account growth across wholesale, corporate, hospitality, and mission-aligned sectors. You’ll manage a portfolio of key accounts, pursue new partnerships, lead proposals and negotiations, and ensure exceptional service delivery. This is a hands-on, revenue-driving role that blends business development, relationship management, and purpose-led storytelling. You will work closely with US leadership, operations, and marketing to grow our impact and presence in the region. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development • Identify, prospect, and close new B2B opportunities across New York. • Lead outreach, pitching, proposals, and contract negotiations. • Represent Change Please at industry events, conferences, and partner activations. • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets. Account Management • Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale, corporate, and multi-site customers. • Lead onboarding, training, and ongoing client support. • Review performance with customers and identify upsell / expansion opportunities. • Serve as a trusted advisor helping partners integrate social impact into procurement. Strategic Contribution • Support the development of regional sales strategies and forecasting. • Identify market trends, new segments, and opportunities for expansion. • Collaborate with marketing on tailored proposals, case studies, and campaigns. Internal Collaboration • Work closely with operations to ensure seamless order fulfillment and service delivery. • Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline forecasting, and reporting. • Provide guidance to junior team members when needed, fostering a supportive culture. What Success Looks Like • Consistently meeting or exceeding revenue and account-growth targets. • Establishing strong, long-term relationships with key partners across New York. • Securing new partnerships that expand our footprint and deepen our social impact. • Delivering exceptional customer experience with high retention and satisfaction. • Helping build scalable sales processes, data accuracy, and reporting discipline. • Being recognized internally as a proactive, mission-driven contributor to our growth. Key Skills and Attributes • 3–5+ years of experience in B2B sales and/or account management in coffee. • Proven ability to manage both large and small accounts, including multi-location partners. • Strong communicator with excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment. • Mission-driven, empathetic, and passionate about using business as a force for good. • Comfortable balancing hands-on sales activity with strategic account development. Qualifications • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets. • Experience managing CRM systems and sales reporting. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience. • Based in or near New York City with ability to travel within the region.
