Position Overview: Chandler Park Academy (CPA) is actively seeking passionate, Certified Elementary Teachers for School Year 2026-2027. Ideal candidates range from recent graduates eager to begin their teaching careers to expert, experienced educators committed to nurturing young learners. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with Michigan State Standards, emphasizing foundational literacy and numeracy skills. • Use diverse instructional methods tailored to young learners, including technology integration and hands-on learning. • Monitor student progress regularly using assessments and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs. • Establish and maintain a positive, structured classroom environment promoting inclusion and respect. • Communicate consistently with parents and caregivers about student progress and strategies for improvement. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field. • Valid Michigan Teaching Certification with elementary education endorsements. • Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching strategies. • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Commitment to continuous professional growth and reflective practice.
