Job Description Job Description - Project Manager (Healthcare Domain) Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with 15+ years of proven expertise in managing large-scale projects within the Healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery skills, ensuring successful execution of projects aligned with business goals, regulatory compliance, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of healthcare IT / clinical / operational projects across multiple stakeholders. • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, risk registers, and status reports. • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HL7, ICD-10, FHIR, and other healthcare regulations/standards. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including clinicians, IT, business analysts, and vendors. • Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics in alignment with business needs. • Drive change management and adoption strategies for new healthcare technologies and workflows. • Manage vendor relationships and third-party service providers. • Identify risks/issues proactively and implement mitigation strategies. • Conduct regular governance meetings with senior leadership and stakeholders. • Ensure high-quality project documentation, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. • Mentor junior project managers, business analysts, and team members. Required Skills & Qualifications • 15+ years of experience in project/program management with at least 8-10 years in Healthcare domain. • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems (EHR/EMR, Claims, Payer/Provider workflows, Clinical systems, HIS, etc.). • Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar budgets and large cross-functional teams. • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR, HL7, ICD, FHIR, FDA regulations, etc.). • Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies. • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills. • Proficiency with Project Management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.). • Certifications preferred: PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, CSM, or equivalent. Educational Background • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. • Master's degree (MBA / MHA) preferred. Soft Skills • Strong leadership and people management. • Analytical and problem-solving mindset. • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects. • Excellent presentation and reporting skills.
