We are currently seeking Technical Professionals who are searching for challenging and rewarding jobs for the following opportunity: JOB SUMMARY: Our National Financial Mortgage client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Product Manager on a REMOTE full- time permanent basis to spearhead the Encompass Loan Origination System, serving as the primary liaison between Technology and Business stakeholders. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the IT brand within the business, working closely with executives such as the VP of Underwriting and SVP Ops. The LOS Product Manager is responsible to articulate and execute a clear vision for the future of the product, communicate with customers, and work to prioritize the product backlog and define features that will achieve the most business value for their organization. Where you’re located: Preference given to a REMOTE ‘local to SoCal’ candidate EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • 6+ years of experience in solutions management Product Management and executing business initiatives, strategy and goals with the ability to command a presence and gain credibility from day 1. • 2+ years of experience in leadership position and responsibility for complex initiatives • Mortgage loan origination industry experience, preference given to candidates with ICE Encompass experience • Subject matter expertise in product management of frontend consumer facing portals and custom build projects -feature enhancements, new service offerings, compliance or regulatory changes (eg NACHA) and cross sell engine initiatives. • Strong experience in collaboration with Business executives and creating effective Product roadmaps, customer journey building, involved in specs and assessments, epics and user stories • Strong understanding of the Mortgage business, preferably with experience in a larger, structured mortgage shop using Encompass for managing Retail and Wholesale LOS processes. • Proven ability to see the bigger picture of how various components of the mortgage business fit together. • Excellent frontend presentation and communication skills with a focus on building partnerships and credibility with the business. • Proactive communication style, capable of solving issues with a 'yes' mindset and providing clear explanations when the answer is 'no.' • Strong organizational and project management skills, including proficiency in JIRA for task and backlog management. • Deep understanding of Mortgage SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle). • Understanding SQL and data visualizations • Functional understanding of web programming and database languages nice to have • Effective communicator with a proactive problem-solving approach. • Ability to provide leadership, critical thinking, and excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for being the Product expert on all products related to Loan Origination platform and business objectives. Oversee and direct the efforts of 3-4 direct reports as well as personally take on some Business Systems Analyst (BSA) tasks, particularly with senior executives. • Create product roadmaps and communicate the vision for enterprise business line that accomplishes the business unit’s strategic goals. • Business Process and Product Management: Analyze complex business requirements and develop detailed solutions geared towards operational excellence. Gather requirements through regular meetings with business stakeholders. Define product objectives based on customer-centric user stories. Create tasks and groomings for the configuration team to act on. • Portfolio and Backlog Management: Organize and manage the portfolio, ensuring a well-maintained backlog. Run scrum and sprint sessions, actively participating in BSA tasks. Clarify and manage messaging, set tasks per objectives, and constantly reevaluate priorities. • Communication and Collaboration: Interact with the configuration team daily to understand their needs and execute on business priorities. Collaborate with the configuration team's Manager to ensure the right solutions are built and delivered for the business. • JIRA Process Management: Utilize JIRA for task and backlog management, approving queues and moving items through the process. Engage with the configuration team to transition tasks seamlessly from "In Progress" to "Ready for Development" and beyond.
