As we expand our U.S. footprint, we are seeking a visionary VP of U.S. Business Operations to lead our market penetration and operational excellence. Key Responsibilities • Oversee end-to-end U.S. business operations, with a strategic focus on driving growth in the life insurance segment. • Leverage deep expertise in the U.S. life insurance market to optimize liability management and enhance marketing/distribution strategies—with a critical emphasis on agent networks and insurance brokerage systems. • Lead the development and expansion of our U.S. distribution channels (agent/broker networks), identifying new partnership opportunities and driving market penetration. • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams (U.S. and China) to align operational goals, share market insights, and ensure seamless execution of business plans. • Conduct regular business trips between the U.S. and China to coordinate with headquarters, align strategies, and facilitate cross-regional collaboration. Required Qualifications 1. 8+ years of progressive experience in the U.S. insurance industry, with a proven track record at insurance carriers or brokerage firms. 2. In-depth knowledge of the U.S. life insurance market, with hands-on expertise in liability-side operations and marketing/distribution management—particularly in building, scaling, or optimizing agent networks or brokerage systems. 3. Strong business development and market expansion capabilities, with a history of driving measurable growth in competitive markets. 4. Fluency in both English (native/business proficiency) and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to effectively communicate with global stakeholders. 5. Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly between the U.S. and China.
