Experience in technical or e-commerce sales, proven sales leadership in a multi-million dollar company, ability to develop scalable sales processes, and strong organizational and analytical skills.
We are looking for a Director of Sales to join our team that will scale revenue and profit growth by developing sales strategies, implementing scalable sales approaches and processes, and leading and developing a growing sales team. The Director of Sales is responsible for developing, implementing and managing a sales strategy that will ramp up the growth of our established organization. You will implement processes that support the growth strategy and optimize sales channels, supported by a healthy lead generation channel. You will grow, develop, and optimize the sales team. This role reports directly to the CEO. CablesAndKits is a 20+ year old, $10+M in revenue, ~30 employees, trusted supplier of new and pre-owned Cisco networking hardware, refurbished Dell and HP servers, and a comprehensive range of ethernet, fiber, power and other network infrastructure products. We deliver reliable IT products with exceptional customer service, leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance customer experience. Job Responsibilities: · Grow sales and gross profit by developing a sales strategy and executing the strategy with ‘Excellence’ · Expand and develop the existing sales team to support growth · Leverage a robust lead gen channel and installed customer base to optimize direct sales. · ‘Build processes that don’t fail’ to support the sales strategy and growth · Collaborate on pricing, packaging and messaging - ensuring streamlined communication and execution · Monitor, analyze, and report on key sales metrics to optimize team performance · Foster a high visibility and accountability sales culture that balances motivation and results Required Qualifications: · Relevant experience in selling technical products or selling in an E-Commerce centric environment is ideal · Experience developing sales strategies, processes, and growing teams · A track record of growing revenue and profitability · Demonstrated leadership to aligning processes, projects, and people to meet business goals · Proven experience growing and leading a sales team within a multi-million dollar company. · Experience implementing and optimizing sales processes to drive predictable, scalable growth.
