Very exciting time to be a part of the company • Young, energetic, and driven team • Great opportunity to make an impact, high visibility Job Responsibilities Of The Director Of Cost Accounting • Managing cost accounting (PPV, Labor Reporting, Physical Inventory) • Support general accounting functions that include journal entries, inventory analysis, monthly obsolesce review/reserve, monthly cycle accounting • Lead a small team • Manage day-to-day operations of the cost accounting and projects accounting systems, processes and procedures. • Help implement new accounting modules • Be a key leader of change in the organization and demonstrate continuous improvement of operations. • Develop metrics and tracking system for major cost drivers. • Perform various month-end closing procedures and assistance with annual external financial audit. Specific requirements for the Director of Cost Accounting position include: • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance • CPA • 5+ years of experience • Savvy with systems, large ERP required (SAP preferred) • 10 years cost accounting experience or more Yearly Compensation starts at $160,000 plus benefits
