Cash Poster Analyst City: Nashville, TN 37228 / Type: Temporary to Hire Work Location: 100% On-Site / Schedule: Mon–Fri, 40-hour work week (start between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM) Hourly Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 Industry: Healthcare Services Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cash Poster Analyst to join a team dedicated to accuracy and efficiency in revenue cycle operations. This role involves posting healthcare payments, resolving discrepancies, and collaborating with billing teams to ensure proper payment application. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payer rules, excellent analytical skills, and experience in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities – Cash Poster Analyst - Post manual and electronic payments (EOBs, EFTs, ERAs) accurately across multiple accounts - Interpret and apply 835 files, COB rules, and payer-specific payment guidelines - Resolve complex denials, unapplied payments, and payment discrepancies - Reconcile batch payments, allocate lump sums, and process secondary/tertiary payments - Collaborate with billing and collections teams to ensure proper posting and follow-up - Utilize EMR systems and clearinghouses to complete payment cycles Qualifications – Cash Poster Analyst - 3–5 years of healthcare payment posting experience - In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, and Workers’ Comp payer rules - Strong Excel skills and familiarity with lockbox files and remittance matching - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail - Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and able to work effectively in fast-paced environments - Preferred: Experience in home health, rehab, or residential healthcare settings #INJAN2026 MaxSalary: USD45760 MinSalary: USD41600 About the Company: CFS Founded by CPA firms in 1994, Creative Financial Staffing has spent over 30 years helping job seekers and employers succeed.
