Project Coordinator II / Release Analyst – Release & Engagement Coordinator Job Overview cFocus Software is seeking a Project Coordinator II / Release Analyst (Release & Engagement Coordinator) to support the Security Tools and Infrastructure Modernization (STIM) contract with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Release & Engagement Coordinator will assist in managing software release activities, tracking engagements, and ensuring effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders. Responsibilities Support release planning, scheduling, and coordination across development, test, and production environments. Assist with maintaining release calendars, tracking milestones, and documenting release processes. Ensure all release activities are documented and communicated to stakeholders in a timely manner. Support change management activities, including risk assessments and approval processes. Coordinate engagement between technical teams, QA, and operations staff to ensure release readiness. Assist in facilitating release readiness reviews, retrospectives, and reporting activities. Track and report on release metrics and process improvements. Maintain release documentation, SOPs, and related artifacts. Required Experience 3–5+ years of experience in IT project coordination, release management, or change management. Familiarity with Agile and ITIL frameworks for release/change management. Experience supporting enterprise IT projects or software development programs. Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education & Certifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. ITIL v4 Foundation certification preferred. Agile or Scrum certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) desirable. Clearance Requirement Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (Moderate to High-Risk) clearance.
