CFA Institute is looking for a Paid Media Manager to lead integrated paid media efforts across search, display, programmatic, and other key digital channels. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for a strategic thinker and experienced operator with strong technical expertise and a passion for results. Sitting within the Global Brand Marketing team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners to amplify brand visibility, acquire new customers, and support retention across the customer journey. What You'll Do • Lead, manage, and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns and brand activations across global paid media channels • Develop paid media strategies aligned with brand standards and marketing objectives • Manage agency and partner relationships for media planning and buying across search, social, direct, and programmatic display • Conduct audience research and analysis to define targeting and channel mix • Optimize campaigns to improve performance and deliver against key KPIs • Guide a team of paid media specialists responsible for media buying, campaign execution, and reporting • Monitor campaign effectiveness and produce reporting for stakeholders across the business • Manage paid media budgets exceeding $10M, ensuring effective spend allocation and ROI • Collaborate with integrated marketing, customer experience, and product teams to support business and brand goals What We're Looking For • Proven experience in paid media leadership roles, ideally in both planning and buying functions • Deep understanding of audience targeting, media performance metrics, and channel strategy • Experience using paid media tools and platforms for planning, buying, and optimization • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights • Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator with a track record of stakeholder engagement • Experience managing budgets and reporting on financial performance • Knowledge of advertising regulations and brand safety standards • Background in digital channels including display, video, native, and paid social strongly preferred • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Why Join Us • Lead high-visibility, globally scaled campaigns that directly support mission-driven work • Collaborate with smart, engaged colleagues across marketing, product, and strategy • Join a respected brand with strong market recognition and a growing global presence • Shape the future of how our brand connects with key audiences across paid media channels • Enjoy comprehensive benefits, a supportive work environment, and clear growth opportunities At CFA Institute, we are committed to transparency and equity in our hiring process. All salary ranges are subject to adjustment based on experience, education, and other factors relevant to the position. Additional benefits include eligibility for an annual incentive bonus, a 12% employer contribution to a 401(k) or pension plan, and a comprehensive medical benefits package.
