Job Description Summary: CES is looking for a Forensics Service Manager, to support in managing the NamUs program goals by assisting state and local law enforcement, medical examiners, allied professionals and the general public with resolving missing and unidentified persons cases. The Forensics Service Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a forensics laboratory testing services in support of the NamUs programs. This position is contingent upon contract award. Duties/Responsibilities: • Facilitates the transfer, testing, and reporting of evidence related to identifying missing and unidentified persons. • Formulates key performance measures, tracks cost, and identifies efficiencies • Establish and maintains technical and financial reports to show the status of forensics testing to management and customers. • Assures laboratory compliance with program quality and policy requirements as well as national standards. Required qualifications/skills: • Must have a Master's degree in (STEM) discipline. • A minimum of 4 years work experience in managing programs involving the testing and handling of forensic biological evidence, including laboratory procedures, quality control, and documentary standards. • Work to be performed remote.
