Position: Operations & Business Manager Employment Type: Full Time, Direct Hire Annual Salary: $80,000- $90,000 Location: Richmond, CA A rapidly growing construction solutions business is seeking an Operations & Business Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive continued growth. This role partners closely with the owner (General Manager) and serves as the primary operational point of contact for customers, partners, and vendors. It’s a high-impact, growth-oriented position requiring strong judgment, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to operate independently with an execution-focused approach. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily operations and serve as the main point of contact for customers, partners, and vendors • Support business development: opportunity qualification, proposals, bids, customer meetings, and networking • Scope, plan, and manage projects from award through installation, close-out, and decommissioning • Design and deploy temporary containment solutions using internal systems • Oversee materials, inventory, logistics, warehouse operations, and equipment coordination • Lead installations; train and manage field teams and labor • Maintain clear project communication, documentation, and reporting • Represent the company professionally in customer and industry settings Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience • 3–7 years in operations, construction-adjacent management, or field operations • Experience in commercial construction/facilities/renovation environments preferred • Strong ownership mindset, organization, judgment, and execution skills • Ability to interpret plans/drawings (or strong ability to learn) • Excellent communication and multi-project management skills • Tech-savvy and operationally strong • Valid driver’s license; able to travel across the SF Bay Area • Willing and able to drive a 26’ box truck and operate equipment (forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.)
