Position Summary: Cerity Partners Ventures (CPV) is hiring an Operations Associate supporting business development. Founded as Touchdown Ventures in 2014, our practice merged with Cerity Partners in 2024. CPV pioneered Venture Capital-as-a-Service (VCaaS) for corporations, working with leading brands like Kellogg, T-Mobile, Olympus, and more. With a team of 50+ investment professionals in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, CPV manages more than 20 corporate venture capital funds. The Associate role is an exciting opportunity to join a growing firm. We are building something special and are seeking candidates who share our vision and excitement. Note: this is not a venture capital investment position, but the candidate will get exposure to and learn about the venture capital industry. This position will be based with our team in Philadelphia. We are hybrid with the candidate expected to work three days a week in the office in Philadelphia. Primary Responsibilities Track and report on our new business development pipeline Research various industries and companies supporting our new business development efforts Prepare marketing materials including presentations and collateral on our practice targeting prospective clients Assist with financial reporting and tracking of our practice metrics Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree 1-3 years of relevant work experience Skills and Competencies: Detail Oriented and self-starter who enjosy working in a colleagial workplace Extremely positive and flexible Critical thinking, including superior research and analytical ability Intellectual curiosity, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communication skills; knowledge of Salesforce and LinkedIn is strongly preferred but not required Enthusiasm for venture capital, start-ups and entrepreneurship Willingness to work in a start-up and fast paced culture Why Cerity Partners: Our people drive our success by working together to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
