The Account Manager is responsible for the preparation, coordination, and management of client insurance benefits enrollment and communication projects. This pivotal role ensures seamless execution of client initiatives, contributing to their success and satisfaction. Reporting directly to the Director of Account Management, the Account Manager will play a key role in delivering exceptional service and fostering strong client relationships. Duties & Responsibilities: Coordinate and perform tasks related to the implementation of benefits enrollment projects, specifically initiating and managing the project checklist and timelines. Drive team integration across departments to effectively deliver tasks on time, holding team members accountable to deadlines. Gather and store case documents, including but not limited to budget and goals, plan of enrollment, counselor scripts, and required client documentation for Carriers. Organize, manage, and participate in weekly case project team meetings. Schedule and lead client administrative calls with payroll and carriers. Coordinate and document the weekly client call. Develop and maintain client relationships along with the EOI Client Executive Produce the Enrollment Manual with required case specifics. Administer the case training for the Benefit Counselors. Oversee client census information for distribution to required parties. Spearhead and manage any replacement processes, including but not limited to, product mapping over to the new Carrier and arranging materials needed for the upcoming product RFP. Monitor Enrollment System: gather carrier specification documents, census information, and test the enrollment platform. Organize and track case results and counselor reporting. Generate and organize statistical data from Oracle and enrollment platforms for reporting to Client, Broker, and EOI Marketing. Confirm and audit project enrollments and confirm initial payroll deductions with clients. Process, track, and assist in resolving customer service issues. Assist with the set-up of monthly new hires project timelines, licensing, and training materials. Other duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Self-motivated, highly organized problem solver that can manage multiple tasks and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills and ability to lead and document discussions. Strong Excel and report writing skills, ensuring accuracy of the minute details of a project or task. Ability to analyze and interpret demographic and enrollment data. Ability to convey project status and technical and complex concepts for a variety of audiences, including the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language. Strong organizational and attention to detail skills. Ability to work on a fast-paced, high-energy team while maintaining a positive attitude Computer proficiency with Excel Spreadsheets, Word Documents, and navigating Agency Management Systems Experience assisting in the full marketing process and analyzing contracts Interpreting complex documents, such as insurance benefits with multiple coverages, detailed applications, and proposals. Experience navigating enrollment platforms: Selerix, bswift Employee Navigator, Ultipro, ADP, etc. Education and Experience: Bachelor with some business courses Minimum Five years in the insurance industry – Group Benefits or Enrollment Management experience preferred Three years of effective project management experience – Within the Insurance industry preferred Current Insurance license Preferred Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Prolonged periods staring at a computer screen, with consistent exposure to blue light and glare. Reaching, stretching, and bending of arms periodically. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times. Available for limited travel for company and client meetings, as needed. The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $70,000 to $75,000 per year. Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
