Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a compliance or quality assurance leadership role. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Central Research, Inc. (CRI) is actively seeking a Compliance Manager to support our Federal Government contract in Lowell, AR. The position will be responsible for overseeing the compliance program and upholding applicable compliance procedures and internal controls to avoid risk and ensure the company complies with all federal, state, and local regulations including all contractual requirements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Responsible for managing the compliance team that will be monitoring and conducting administrative audits on the process and procedures to support the program * Ensure sufficient internal controls and compliance training are established, reviewed, and maintained to stay compliant with appropriate federal/state regulations and contractual obligations * Proactively audit processes, procedures, and documents to identity opportunities * Confirm adherence to internal controls and procedures throughout the life of the program * Assist operational team with any questions about compliance policies and procedures and business requirements * Organize and participate in special reviews to ensure we are providing a quality customer experience * Collaborate with Director of Compliance to ensure all business requirements & compliance performance standards are satisfied * Respond to customer complaints received via various channels (FDMS, CFPB, Ombudsman, Attorney General etc.) * Prepare and provide compliance reports and statistical trends * Assist Director of Compliance to review and ensure training materials are compliant for the various programs * Assist with resolution of accounts if a complaint, dispute or other compliance concerns arise * Review and train compliance staff * Assist with external audits, including SOC1/A-123, etc. * Report any compliance issues to leadership * Review and assist with the implementation of change requests (CRs) * Participate in continuing education programs to stay abreast of changes in federal and state laws and regulations Required Education and Experience Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED * 2 years of experience in compliance or quality assurance leadership role directing and managing teams * US Citizenship is required per the contract * Must be able to obtain and maintain a 5C Suitability clearance Preferred Education and Experience Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * 5+ years of experience in compliance/quality assurance leadership role directing and managing teams * 2+ Previous compliance/quality assurance experience working on a federal student loan servicing program * Knowledge and understanding of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, its related regulations and the state laws and regulations Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: * Ability to create presentations and provide training to staff regarding compliance * Capable of leading a team and coaching a team * Detailed oriented and ability to multi-task * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office applications * Ability to read, write and speak fluent English * Excellent presentation and facilitations skills * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within all levels of the organization * Ability to adjust quickly to changing business needs Equal Opportunity Employer: Equal Opportunity Employer, including veterans and individuals with disabilities.
