Entry-level facilities maintenance skills, ability to inspect and repair building systems, knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
Under general supervision of the Facilities Superintendent, the Facilities Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and repair of assigned County Connection facilities and equipment. (Typical duties are listed below, and may include assisting with other various tasks and special projects as needed or assigned) • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings and grounds, including building interiors, pedestrian walkways, and vehicle parking areas. • Inspect work in progress and on completion to ensure conformance with standard maintenance and repair procedures as well as state, county, and local building codes. • Inspect and repair equipment, machinery, and tools to ensure good operating condition. • Coordinate ongoing development and refinement of preventative maintenance programs. • Order equipment and supplies to support facilities maintenance activities. • Investigate complaints concerning the maintenance and repair of facilities. • Assist to ensure compliance with all storm water and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
