We pride ourselves on providing legendary client service, being mindful of our Midwest values and never forgetting our roots, dating back to 1902.   Job Summary The Associate Portfolio Manager works directly with Portfolio Managers to develop and implement strategies that address clients’ investment, financial, insurance, tax, estate planning needs, and more. The Associate Portfolio Manager works closely with other Advisors to provide advice on all aspects of the client relationship. This role is responsible for investment management, assisting with new business development, and client retention. A successful Associate Portfolio Manager will be an attentive listener, clear communicator, and driven to grow personally and professionally.   Duties and Functions * Trade client accounts in accordance with company guidelines, and best practices. * Complete assigned compliance reviews * Support and partner with senior advisors in portfolio management through investment analysis, trading, reporting and compliance documentation. * Assist in updating and maintaining digital reporting and tools suite for portfolio management team. * Develop experience in managing client relationships while operating under the mentorship and supervision of senior team members. * Assist teams in financial planning, performance reporting, investment research and ad hoc client requested deliverables. * Pursue opportunities for civic, community and professional groups involvement. Qualifications Skills and Abilities * Team oriented                                                                                                    *  Ability to adapt and prioritize quickly * Detail oriented                                                                                          * Effective oral and written communication * Problem Solving   Minimum and Preferred Education and Experience * Bachelor’s Degree Required * 3+ years of industry experience – Preference for relevant experience operating in portfolio management, research & analysis and/or client facing wealth management roles. * Intent to obtain Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) designation and/or Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) credential.
