Assist students with financial aid applications, ensure compliance, and improve financial aid processes.
Minimum 5 years in financial aid or relevant experience, bachelor's degree preferred, strong management and customer service skills.
Brief: The Financial Aid Manager assists the Corporate and Campus Director of Financial Aid with all aspects of financial aid, ensuring that all student financial aid packages are processed and awarded in compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies. Essential Functions: • Assists students in completing the FASFA and applying for financial aid • Provides the cost of attendance and explain funding options to student • Ensures that all required documentation necessary is provided by the student • Assists the Director of Financial Aid in awarding aid, the verification process and loan certification • Assists students with applying for Private student loans • Assists in continuous improvement and advancement of financial aid processes • Assists with entrance and exit counseling for financial aid applicants and recipients • Maintains an advanced knowledge of regulatory guidelines • Ensure excellent customer service at all times Work Experience Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years in financial aid or relevant experience Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree preferred Skill Requirements: Administration, management, customer service, interpersonal skills, computer proficiency Employment Type: FULL_TIME
