Position Purpose: Manage day-to-day relationships with local health plan marketing teams to successfully procure/re-procure Medicaid managed care contracts through best-in-class, insight driven marketing, media, and activations to drive impact at a local level. Execute the annual marketing plans for the Medicaid managed care plans to grow member acquisition and retention in close partnership with the Health Plan teams. Identify, design and drive adoption of marketing capabilities, platforms, and processes at a national level to support the state-based and local Health Plan efforts. Execute portfolio strategy for the state/locality to proactively communicate Health Plans’ state/local community impact to key stakeholders Identify and share best practices and learnings with state-based markets and establish a community of practice to scale across the network Develop and adapt marketing activations content so that they are relevant and accessible to all audiences Support execution of the marketing budget and annual marketing plans, shaping investment which reflects effective portfolio planning, resource allocation, bold investment decisions, and intense cost management Derive insights from regional markets to inform marketing strategy and execution for national brands (Ambetter and WellCare), and serve as single corporate marketing/comms contact for Health Plans across all Lines of Business Identify opportunities for scale and efficiency in both enabling investment (agency fees, production, research etc.) and media to support development and delivery of local content Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred. 6+ years of experience in marketing or communications within the healthcare industry required. Organization and talent management experience required. Pay Range: $87,700.00 - $157,800.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
