Position Purpose: Oversee key compliance functions, including compliance training, compliance program effectiveness, and reporting to executive leadership and the board. Drive operational efficiency, support regulatory excellence, and foster a strong organizational culture of compliance. Oversee the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of compliance training for employees, leadership, and the Board. Monitor training completion, effectiveness, and regulatory readiness, ensuring documentation is audit ready. Lead initiatives to assess training impact and implement enhancements based on feedback and benchmarking. Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance communication strategy, including campaigns, digital content, and awareness initiatives. Track and report on communication effectiveness, using metrics and feedback for continuous improvement. Oversee governance and strategic alignment of compliance activities, policies and procedures, including committee management and leadership reporting, including committee and board reporting. Develop and monitor the enterprise compliance work plan, identifying gaps and driving execution. Define compliance goals, strategic priorities, and initiatives to mitigate risk and uphold regulatory requirements. Assess and monitor the overall effectiveness of the compliance program using standardized metrics and benchmarking Develop and maintain dashboards, key compliance indicators (KCIs), and reporting mechanisms to provide leadership with actionable insights. Recommend enhancements to compliance processes, training, and governance based on assessment outcomes. Ensure readiness for audits and regulatory reviews by maintaining comprehensive documentation and evidence of program effectiveness. Performs other duties as assigned. Comply with all policies and standards. Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Healthcare Administration, Business or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's Degree or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred 7+ years in various compliance roles, preferably in a complex, regulated environment. required Proven leadership in compliance training, communication, governance, policy management, and program effectiveness. required Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management, and audit processes. required Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic planning skills. required Pay Range: $148,000.00 - $274,200.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
