Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 1+ years reviewing complex legal/commercial terms, 3+ years compliance or regulatory experience in healthcare or government procurement, and preferred experience with government procurement regulations and contract management tools.

This is a fully remote position that can be located anywhere in the US. Position Purpose: Supports the management and overall oversight of compliance with organizational and Health Plan contract requirements. This position collaborates with various Centene Health Plans, corporate functions, and third-party vendors to facilitate contract compliance, oversight of the Procurement Contract Center of Excellence (CoE) team's contract templates, playbooks, clause library, policies, and procedures. Coordinate the execution of Product Attachments and related compliance requirements to ensure compliance with state, federal, and Centene requirements prior to Procurement awarding business to a vendor. Monitor the submission of contract requests to the Health Plans to ensure timely, accurate, and appropriate submission and turnaround time. Supports contracting standards used within the Procurement department and related procedures, including but not limited to contract templates, playbooks, clause library, checklists, policies, procedures, and projects related to adherence with such standards. Provides analysis and reporting of compliance projects, pilots, standards for Contract CoE. Supports contracting standards and compliance requirements related to vendor contracts. Assist with identifying and resolving inefficiencies, train staff/peers on standards and requirements, and develop quarterly plans to improve processes and/or update standards. Maintains detailed and accurate records of all contract compliance documents, projects, and actions pursuant to company standards, promptly updates contract management systems with current information, and documents approvals according to policies and procedures. Addresses and resolves questions or issues related to contract compliance requirements with vendors. Works with Corporate Legal, Compliance (Corporate and Health Plans), Business SMEs, Category Management, and other departments to understand, document, interpret, and implement contract compliance standards and requirements. Delivers customer service to internal stakeholders throughout the contracting process, responds to inbound requests in line with procurement SLAs, and provides frequent updates on contract status. Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent experience required General knowledge of procurement concepts and processes required 1+ years experience with reviewing complex legal and commercial terms and raising risk exposures under general supervision required 3+ years experience with any, multiple, or all the following: compliance or regulatory experience in a health care and/or managed care setting/organization, government procurement and flow down requirements for subcontractors or third-party vendors, and/or drafting contract templates, terms and conditions, and improving contracting processes required Training and presentation skills preferred Experience with government procurement (FAR/DFAR) or CMS-related contracting preferred Experience with ServiceNow, Coupa and/or other ticket management and contract lifecycle management tools preferred Pay Range: $26.50 - $47.59 per hour Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
