Position Purpose: Responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of a technology project to ensure it is completed on time and within budget. Has overall responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and contractual deliverables. Develops detailed project plans. Monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports. Evaluates and manages risk. Incorporates quality measures and standards to project deliverables. Experience with healthcare payer environments Manages multiple small to medium sized projects Works with project stakeholders to develop an objective-based comprehensive project plan as per allocated time and budget Establishes, builds rapport, and maintains relationships with stakeholders, third parties and vendors to ensure their coordination with internal resources Creates, builds, and updates project schedules, project charters, status reports and work breakdown structures Sets priorities, defines dependencies, and schedules activities Tracks and reports on financial data, performance, and status of multiple projects by leveraging project management tools and techniques; continually reviews and makes recommendations to ensure adequate availability of resources Communicates to team members and stakeholders via Project Management Office project update methods Identifies key project risks and manages them to ensure the delivery of business goals; escalates issues to management as needed Facilitates and determines the resolution of project-related conflicts including necessary corrective action(s) Ensures consistency and adherence to corporate operational standards and processes Ensures proper project closure including lessons learned Performs other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Education/Experience: Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2 – 4 years of related experience. Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position. Technical Skills: One or more of the following skills are desired. Experience with ServiceNow PPM Experience with Microsoft Office; Excel; Project Management; Root Cause Analysis; Sourcing; Stakeholder Management; Vendor Relationship Management Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall frameworks; Software Development Life Cycle Soft Skills: Seeks to acquire knowledge in area of specialty Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Ability to work independently License/Certification: Certified Project Management Professional (PMP or CAPM)-PMI preferred Pay Range: $73,800.00 - $132,700.00 per year Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.
