At Fidelis Care, our New York-based health plan, we’re seeking a finance professional for an entry-level role with opportunities to learn, grow, and make an impact in a mission-driven team. Position Purpose: • Drive product-specific revenue and medical cost forecasting and variance analysis as a core member of the Fidelis FP&A team. • Support month-end close processes and ensure accurate financial reporting aligned with enterprise performance goals. • Deliver actionable financial insights that support data-driven decision-making in a mission-oriented healthcare environment. • Compile and analyze financial information for the company. Lead various financial projects. Applicants for this role have the flexibility to work remotely from home anywhere within the Continental United States. Due to the needs of the business, ideal schedule is EST time zone. In this Finance Analyst I role, you will: • Assist in the development of integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and ensures financial information has been recorded accurately • Analyze trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior analyst and management • Assist in financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts • Performs other duties as assigned • Complies with all policies and standards Highly preferred: • Healthcare industry experience preferred. • OneStream Experience. • Understanding of healthcare financial metrics including medical loss ratio (MLR), Per Member Per Month (PMPM), cost of care, and revenue risk adjustment. • Demonstrated ability to manage forecasting processes for multiple products or business line. • Strong expertise in Excel(VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot tables), financial modeling, and forecasting. • Solid communication skills and ability to present data to senior leadership. • Proactive, critical thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical mindset. • Collaborative, with the ability to build relationships and drive strategic impact. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0-2 years of financial or data analysis experience. Pay Range: $22.79 - $38.84 per hour Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
