Own the end-to-end design process including user interviews, usability tests, and creating wireframes and prototypes to influence product roadmap decisions.
Seeking a student, recent graduate, or self-taught designer with passion for user-centric design and no prior internship experience required.
At Cent Capital, we are on a mission to solve the human crisis of financial inequality. We are a well-funded, pre-seed AI startup with massive organic traction (130k+ community) and a team proven at building products for hundreds of millions of users. We are looking for our founding design intern to join the team immediately and help architect the core user experience of our AI-powered financial co-pilot. This is a rare opportunity to get in on the ground floor, ship work that will impact a huge user base, and be mentored directly by our CEO. Your Responsibilities: You will own the end-to-end design process: leading user interviews and usability tests to uncover deep insights. You will translate those insights into elegant solutions, creating wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes in Figma. Your research and designs will be debated, respected, and used to make critical decisions about our product roadmap. You won’t be a cog in a machine; you’ll be a foundational voice for our users. Who We're Looking For: A student, recent grad, or self-taught designer with a deep passion for user-centric design. We care more about your skills and portfolio than your specific major or background. No prior internship experience is required. We’re looking for raw talent, empathy, and a hunger to learn and execute. Want to Stand Out? (Bonus Challenge) We believe the best way to understand a product person is to see how they think. For bonus points that will get your application fast-tracked, we invite you to test-drive our core AI Insights feature. Simply sign up for free at https://cent.capital/, connect a demo or spare account, and explore the insights it generates. In your application note, include a few key screenshots and a short paragraph with your top 3 pieces of feedback (e.g., one thing you loved, one thing that was confusing, and one suggestion for improvement). Candidates who complete this will be immediately prioritized.
