IT Project Manager Overview: The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and delivering technology initiatives that support business objectives. This role manages projects from planning through execution, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met while coordinating with stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors. Key Responsibilities: • Plan, organize, and manage IT projects from initiation through completion. • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders. • Lead cross-functional teams, assigning responsibilities and tracking progress. • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure project success. • Communicate project status, milestones, and updates to leadership and stakeholders. • Ensure projects align with IT standards, security policies, and organizational objectives. • Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party deliverables when required. • Conduct post-project evaluations and capture lessons learned for continuous improvement. Experience & Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience). • 5+ years of experience managing IT or technology-related projects. • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid). • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively. • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. • PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification preferred. • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar)
