Job Details The Senior Analytics Data Analyst will be a part of Patient Services Operations Excellence that delivers data & analytics insights that improve operations experience and patient care. Leveraging your extensive pharmaceutical/healthcare delivery/payer industry experience, you will transform internal data into information foundational to our analytics and operational support product portfolio. By leading and performing complex analysis in an evolving data/information environment, you will contribute to data and automation product development. In addition to very strong data skills, this position will have superb business process analysis and interpersonal skills. Accountable for the full lifecycle of data analytic activities spanning from requirements gathering and data designs to performing discovery and analysis, preparing analytic deliverables, and briefing stakeholders on the results. Primary Responsibilities Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and document requirements Support product estimation and timeline deliverables for new product capabilities Create mechanisms for exploring structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data Work independently to solve complex problems & optimize user queries Partner with business to inform and develop business rules applied to analytics data Assist with development and publishing of analytics-ready data to enable the creation of analytic deliverables Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis Create new or leverage existing analysis models and apply them to aligned program using business knowledge Design data and automation deliverables Serve as SME for all data domains Provide consulting support on all data-related solutions (design, consumption, data feeds, data aggregation, etc.). Integrate, analyze, and interpret business level data from multiple sources EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years’ experience working independently on the creation of data solutions, designing and creating data reports and dashboards 5+ years’ working experience querying and structuring SQL databases Advanced capabilities in spreadsheet tools like Excel for data manipulation and preliminary analysis; Advanced skill in data visualization software, PowerBI, which is critical for presenting data findings in an accessible way; Power Automate/Power Apps development experience preferred A foundational understanding of statistics to accurately interpret data and draw valid conclusions Completion of a four-year Bachelors’ degree program, preferably with an emphasis in statistics, data science, computer science, or mathematics Industry experience in pharmaceutical, payer, or healthcare delivery preferred MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS: Customer-focused and solutions/product-oriented mindset Strong interpersonal and partnership skills Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and be self-directed Work on multiple, concurrent projects while maintaining a solid attention to detail Strong problem-solving ability What Cencora offers We provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members’ ability to live with purpose every day.
