Location: TelecommuteJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $45 - 55 per hourWe are seeking a versatile and creative Asset Curator for a movie and TV stills-based image and video clip selection project. This role requires strong creative judgment, a foundational understanding of artwork design, and the ability to evaluate assets against both technical (sharpness, framing) and creative (genre representation, talent accuracy) guidelines. This is a full-time, remote contract through the end of 2026 (approximately 40 hours/week), typically aligning with US business hours. Responsibilities: Evaluation & Scoring: Label and score stills-based imagery and short-form video clips against a specific quality framework to determine suitability for on-service promotion. Guideline Mastery: Familiarize yourself with technical requirements and creative guidelines to ensure assets are accurate to the film/series and representative of core talent. Framework Optimization: Provide ongoing feedback on the quality framework and suggest improvements to the existing taxonomy. Content Research: Perform light research on storylines and genres to correctly identify prominent characters and tone. Collaboration: Work within a small team of labelers, participating in in-depth discussions regarding labeling choices and attending biweekly calibration meetings. Qualifications: 3+ Years of Experience: Proven background in curating stills/photography and short-form video from entertainment content, or creating marketing key art and trailers. Technical & Creative Expertise: Strong grasp of image composition, asset curation best practices, and technical quality standards for photo and video. Entertainment Literacy: Deep understanding of content genre, plot, tone, and talent representation. Software Knowledge: Basic familiarity with the capabilities of photo and/or video editing software. Soft Skills: Ability to work efficiently under deadlines and an eagerness to embrace a culture of candid, detailed feedback.
