Responsibilities • Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal performance • Lead and motivate staff through effective training, coaching, and development to uphold service standards and food quality • Manage food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to safety protocols across all kitchen functions • Supervise inventory control procedures to minimize waste and maintain accurate stock levels using POS systems • Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at shift end • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to deliver a safe dining experience for guests • Support hiring processes by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new team members • Monitor customer service quality, address guest concerns promptly, and promote a welcoming atmosphere Qualifications • Proven experience in food service management or assistant manager roles within quick service or fast food restaurants • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management with culinary experience preferred • Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and sales tracking • Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in hospitality or restaurant settings • Excellent communication skills for staff training, team management, and customer interaction • Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and budgeting practices within the food industry • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a high-energy environment while maintaining attention to detail Join us at Dearborn Pizzeria where your leadership fuels our success!
