The Sr. Field Service Technician provides professional service and support to clients with system installation insight, guidance and support, commissioning services and corrective and preventative maintenance support. They utilize their proficiency with Kemco equipment and systems for mentoring client-partners, conducting training during commissioning and over the life span of the equipment. In this role, you are the primary point of contact during system commissioning and aftermarket service- a pivotal resource for retailing spare parts and service contracts. Your Responsibilities Will Be: Operation and maintenance of fluid flow systems, including heat exchangers and pumps. Water piping, pumps, controls as well as combustion, natural gas piping and electrical systems Customer pre-consultation, site readiness preparation, startup completion and monitoring including combustion process tuning and documentation, heat exchanger operation, wastewater systems operation, control systems operation and other system and equipment sub- components. Completion of replacement or rebuilding of electrical and mechanical components. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance or repairs to equipment and perform upgrades and or planned routine maintenance on the equipment. Acquaint clients with normal and abnormal operating conditions as well as corrective and preventative maintenance procedures and documentation. Determine causes of equipment faults, planning correction and resolution of the problems. Complete service reports, log repairs, warranty and maintenance performed. Approach every project assuring safety standards are paramount and precisely utilized. Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; use of hand tools and analyzers; and interpreting blueprints. proficient in Microsoft Office Provide exemplary customer service skills; clearly communicate verbally and in writing; resolve issues quickly and correctly. Work as a team and individually; and have exceptional organizational skills. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma required. Experience: 5 plus years of related industry experience. Combustion processes operation and experience is a plus. Electro-Mechanical with pneumatics, hydraulics, AC/DC motor control, PLC’s, VFD’s, Pump Systems and Allen-Bradley Control platforms is a plus. Industrial wastewater treatment operational experience is a plus. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to travel up to 80% of time and across international borders---Candidates must reside near a major airport ADA Requirements: Positions in this function typically require typing, sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Concentrated mental and/or visual attention. The work involves performing complex tasks to very close accuracy and quality specifications, or a high degree of hand and eye coordination for sustained periods. Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 60 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Incumbents may be subjected to moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, vibrations, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, poor ventilation, chemicals, oils, extreme temperatures, inadequate lighting, workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel.
