Houston - Texas - United States of America About The Role As a CBRE Technical Sr Consultant, you will be responsible for providing sophisticated engineering operations and strategic direction to technicians, vendors, and subcontractors. You will play a role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems. What You’ll Do • Tackling outstanding problems having a impact on the business Impact the achievement of customer, , project, or service objectives across teams • Mentor others to develop in-depth knowledge and expertise in most or all areas within the function • Showcase expertise in own job difficulty and comprehensive understanding of other job rigors within the organization function • Communicate difficult and sophisticated ideas with the ability to influence • Supervise operations, assign work orders, and provide technical and procedural training of coworkers and subcontractors • Engage clients in scheduling preventative maintenance and other downtime to minimize business interruption and inconvenience • Formulate and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life • Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed • Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish sophisticated assignments and provide innovative solutions. What You’ll Need High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 5-8 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combina tion of experience and education will be considered. Prior shi ft manager or supervisory experience preferred Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to li ft /carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more the innova ti ve mentality to develop methods that go beyond existing solu ti ons Ability to solve unique problems using standard and innova ti ve solutions having a broad impact on the business In-depth knowledge of Microso ft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Expert organiza ti onal skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset Highly sophisticated math skills.
