Redmond - Washington - United States of America About The Role Responsible for supporting People Team, programs and policies. This role may have a special focus on addressing Time & Attendance queries with Payroll and providing guidance on labor relations matters. What You’ll Do • Responds to People inquiries and issues on policies and programs from employees and managers, including interpretation of policies. • Assists with transactions and questions related to onboarding new hires, status changes for existing employees and terminations of employees. • In conjunction with CBRE management, provides guidance on union/labor relations - including Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) inquiries. As needed, ensure inquiries are escalated. • Prepares a variety of reports, both standard and ad-hoc, and conducts basic data analysis. • Writes a variety of correspondence, such as letters, memos and agreements (including offer letters, promotion or change letters, draw agreements, etc.) • Collaborates with the People Service Centre and COEs to help resolve manager and employee inquiries. • Delivers training, including new hire orientation and system-specific training. Bachelor's Degree required, with 2-4 years of experience in Human Resources, preferred. Prior experience with labor relations in a unionized environment, preferred. CHRP or CHRL in progress, preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret business documents, including complex employment contracts and other legal documents. Ability to effectively respond to inquiries from client groups, co-workers, supervisor and/or management. Strong Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills required.
