cBEYONData is seeking an AI Data Engineer to implement AI-driven data engineering practices to integrate data from multiple legacy systems, support creation of the enterprise data model, and generate data artifacts for shared services. This role combines traditional data engineering with modern AI/ML capabilities to accelerate schema mapping and data integration. Responsibilities Ingest, profile, and reconcile data from multiple legacy and modern systems. Develop data pipelines to normalize and align disparate data sets. Build and maintain the data object inventory and mature it into an authoritative model. Apply AI tools to accelerate schema mapping and identify gaps in existing data. Collaborate with Business Process Analysts to align sub-step data with the enterprise data model. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. 5+ years’ experience in data engineering. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data tools. Demonstrated experience applying AI/ML to data integration or modeling tasks. Working location is hybrid in the DMV: Crystal City, VA, Ft. Meade, MD, and Hanover, MD Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and lineage tracking.
