Purpose of the Position: The Construction & Warranty Specialist 1 is responsible for assisting both new construction installations and warranty work. Key Responsibilities 1. Scope Definition • Installations: Receive assignments from the Construction Director and/or the Company Owners to install wine rooms, saunas and humidors. • Warranty: Receive assignments from the Construction Director and/or the Company Owners to perform warranty work on wine rooms and saunas 2. Installations • Wine Rooms, Saunas, Humidors, and any other construction items sold by the company: Your responsibility will be to assist in installations of these items and eventually, after you have been trained, to be able to install these items on your own. 3. Warranty • Wine Rooms, Saunas, Humidors, and any other construction items sold by the company: Your responsibility will be to assist in warranty work of these items and eventually, after you have been trained, to be able to trouble shoot and fix these items on your own. 4. Types of work • Demolition: Removal of existing sheetrock, framing and other items that can be removed by hand to facilitate the start of a job. • Rough Framing: Rough wood framing of rooms. • Insulation Installation: Installing batt insulation in walls and ceilings for saunas. • Trim Carpentry: Installation of wine room cabinetry, wood saunas, and humidors. • Low Voltage: Installation and connections of low voltage lighting inside wine cellars, saunas and humidors. • Sheetrock: Light sheetrock repairs and touch ups • Painting: Painting touch ups to painting areas within rooms • Spray Foam: Touching up spray foam areas that may have been missed by others • Transporting: Moving supplies and equipment to facilitate a job completion • Clean up: Cleaning up jobsite areas and making sure we leave each job void of any construction debris. • General Labor: Any other general labor items that the Construction Director and Owners need to get jobs done. 5. Quality Assurance • Standards Enforcement: Maintain the company’s high standards of craftsmanship throughout all construction activities. • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve quality concerns at any stage of the project promptly. • Client Satisfaction: Ensure that the final product exceeds client expectations. 6. Communication Expectations • Responsiveness: Respond to all texts, calls, and emails within 4 working hours. If immediate answers are unavailable, acknowledge receipt and provide a timeframe for follow-up. • Job Tread: Take pictures and make notes as you complete tasks within Job Tread construction software so that others in the company can see the progress of your work.
