Job Details Job Location: Rock Hill, SC Position Type: Part Time Salary Range: $19.00 - $24.00 Hourly Description Position Summary - This position will provide administrative support for the AmeriCorps Native Nations Planning Grant. The AmeriCorps Native Nations Planning Grant is designed to support Tribal nations and Indigenous communities in developing and planning sustainable national service programs that address critical local needs. Responsibilities of this position include working in collaboration with the Project Manager, tribal government employees, community partners, and stakeholders to coordinate planning activities, document processes, manage timelines, and support the development of program policies, procedures, and implementation tools needed for a future AmeriCorps program. This is a temporary position and is valid through September 30, 2026, or until the project is complete (whichever comes first). Continued employment is dependent on grant funding. Essential Functions An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable accommodation: Maintain and monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Schedule and coordinate meetings, focus groups, and stakeholder engagement sessions. Attend scheduled planning and stakeholder meetings. Track and follow up on action items from planning meetings. Collect and track stakeholder input and compile feedback summaries for planning use. Draft, compile, and format project documents, including agendas, meeting notes, and summaries. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and final reports for the Grant. Maintain organized digital and physical project files. Assist in preparing materials for community outreach, surveys, and interviews. Coordinate logistics for stakeholder engagement events. Support staff and consultants in drafting Grant policies and procedures. Assist in collecting, reviewing, and organizing reference materials for policy development. Prepare correspondence, forms, and templates related to the Grant process. Provide basic data entry and tracking support for project evaluation activities. Assist in the development of detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, budgets, and resource plans. Ensure all program plans and activities align with AmeriCorps requirements and policies. Assist in the preparation of project communication plans. Assist with tracking grant outcomes and preparing required reports. Maintain clear and accurate documentation to support grant reporting and audit readiness. This is a temporary position and is valid through September 30, 2026, or until the project is complete (whichever comes first). Qualifications Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree (Preferred but not required). Experience: Experience providing administrative, project coordination, or program support for nonprofit or government programs. Experience in needs assessments, program planning, and outcomes measurements. Knowledge of AmeriCorps, tribal governance, and/or community-based program development (Preferred but not required). Licenses & Certifications: Valid State Driver’s License and insurable driving record. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity when engaging with tribal citizens and external partners. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage complex projects and timelines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace. Adaptable and resourceful in dynamic, culturally diverse environments. Commitment to national service, civic engagement, and inclusive community partnerships. Able to anticipate needs, think critically, and offer solutions proactively. Able to solve problems and access resources in a complex environment. Able to operate independently and handle confidential matters with discretion and tact. Able to produce clear reports and program documents. Able to build familiarity with the Catawba Nation's governance, values, and history. Able to maintain effective working relationships with other employees and to maintain a courteous and professional demeanor with the public at all times. Some travel may be required. Work Environment & Physical Demands Exposure to normal office environment with occasional visits to program sites. Capacity to maintain high concentration levels and work irregular hours as needed. Ability to travel for training, leadership development, and other events. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, handle paperwork, and operate office machinery
