The Donor Relations & Operations Coordinator will provide essential day-to-day support to the Development team, ensuring donor records, reporting, and acknowledgments are accurate and timely. This role will assist with gift entry, donor outreach, and maintaining accurate donor records in the CRM.
Candidates should have strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and comfort using databases and technology to support fundraising. Good written and verbal communication skills, along with a collaborative approach, are essential.

As the Donor Relations & Operations Coordinator, you’ll provide essential day-to-day support to the Development team, helping ensure donor records, reporting, and acknowledgments are accurate and timely. Your work will help our fundraisers focus on building relationships and raising resources that change lives for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Part-time role with flexibility in scheduling - 20 hours per week within normal business hours. Some flexibility may be needed for evening/weekend hours during large events. This is a short term opportunity - with potential to become permanent (starting with 6 months). Remote role within CA - prefer proximity to Walnut Creek, CA. Core Responsibilities & Essential Job Functions Gift & Donor Support: Assist with gift entry, acknowledgments, donor outreach and maintaining accurate donor records in our CRM. Database & Reporting: Run queries and reports to provide staff with timely information for stewardship and tracking. Grant & Sponsorship Support: Help track deadlines, organize documents, and support reporting needs. CRM Management Support accuracy of donor and gift data in the CRM by helping with data clean-up tasks, including resolving duplicates, maintaining coding consistency, and updating donor preferences and segmentation. Team Support: Provide basic CRM reporting, training and troubleshooting to staff as needed. Finance Partnership: Support reconciliation processes by preparing reports and tracking revenue entries. Qualifications Minimum Education, Experience & Training Equivalent to: Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. The People & Performance Department must analyze DOJ/FBI live scan reports in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, as well as fitness for the position. Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General. Must attend any required training.
