Total Compensation Package: Excellent Annual Salary + 20% Bonus Potential 20 Accrued PTO Days Annually 10 Paid Holidays 401K with 100% Company Match up to 6% 3 Health Care Plan Options + Company HSA Contribution Company Stock Grant Upon Hire $75/month reimbursement for internet service A DAY IN THE LIFE OF Reimbursement, Team Lead (GI) The Reimbursement Team Lead is a hands-on leader who provides ongoing mentorship and support to assigned team members while remaining highly engaged in daily departmental operations. This role is responsible for completing reimbursement tasks alongside the team and meeting or exceeding established productivity and quality standards. The Team Lead assigns daily work and sets priorities to ensure accurate and timely completion of assignments, offers hands-on guidance by answering questions and resolving issues promptly, and supports team members in achieving performance expectations. In addition, the Team Lead conducts ad-hoc quality spot checks to ensure quality metrics are met and serves as a content expert for assigned laboratory tests, assisting with the development of custom letters and training materials. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree in education or healthcare preferred A minimum of 5 years of health insurance billing experience. Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role Knowledge in resolving laboratory claim issues, submitting appeals, and reviewing medical records. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 5 - 10% as needed for training and meetings SCHEDULE Monday-Friday, from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, exempt position, working remotely from your home office located in the USA.
