Why Casca? Casca is building AGI for banking. We’re replacing decades-old legacy systems with AI-native technology that automates 90% of the manual work humans once had to do. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join Casca and ensure the quality and reliability of our Loan Origination System. The ideal candidate will develop and execute test strategies, create automated test frameworks, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the quality of our products throughout the development lifecycle. You will play a critical role in delivering seamless, high-quality user experiences that align with Casca’s mission to provide world-class software to the banking industry. What you’ll do Identify, document, and track defects using bug-tracking tools, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for our platform, ensuring coverage of functional, performance, and usability aspects Define and monitor quality metrics to assess product performance and user satisfaction, providing actionable insights to improve product quality Conduct regression testing to ensure new features and updates do not negatively impact existing functionality Stay updated on QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices to enhance testing processes and product quality What you’ll bring 4+ years of experience in quality assurance or software testing, preferably for products in highly regulated industries or B2B contexts Hands-on experience with testing web and mobile applications Basic scripting skills in languages such as Python, JavaScript, or similar for test automation Excellent communication skills, user empathy, and a detail-oriented mindset Bonus points: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions Familiarity with AI-based/agentic approaches to measuring & improving quality Experience working at or with a small company or a hyper-growth startup What you'll get: Impact & Ownership : A unique opportunity to shape the future of banking through AI, owning end-to-end product initiatives.
