CaryHealth was founded in 2017 as a direct to consumer digital pharmacy experience and has since expanded to be an expansive platform serving pharmaceutical manufacturers, health plans and health systems. The CaryHealth platform includes our digital pharmacy experience CaryRx, OneDash for population management and Clair our proprietary AI model & copilot. Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and passionate Clinical Data Analyst to join our growing team based in Washington, D.C. As a Clinical Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in translating clinical workflows and outcomes into scalable, data-driven processes that power CaryHealth’s health technology platform. Your work will directly influence how our products support patient care, enable efficient and compliant pharmacy operations, and drive continuous product improvement and growth. By embedding clinical logic into analytics and data infrastructure, you will help ensure our software delivers measurable clinical impact, supports rapid iteration, and scales alongside the evolving needs of our partners. The ideal candidate has strong healthcare domain knowledge, is highly proficient in SQL, and is comfortable owning end-to-end analytical workflows—from independently writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, to validating clinical data, evaluating interim and long-term outcomes, and generating insights that inform product and clinical decision-making. You will play a key role in developing and maintaining analytics processes and reporting frameworks that enable scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement across our clinical products. Key Responsibilities Partner cross-functionally with clinical, product, and engineering teams to define data requirements and ensure accurate implementation of clinical logic Independently write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries that power clinical workflows and decision logic within CaryHealth’s SaaS platform Evaluate interim performance metrics and clinical outcomes to assess product effectiveness, clinical impact, and operational efficiency Conduct analyses to identify opportunities to improve engagement, efficiency, and outcomes across CaryHealth’s digital health products Support experimentation and iteration by analyzing results from pilots, feature launches, and workflow changes Communicate insights clearly through dashboards, summaries, and presentations tailored to clinical, product, and leadership audiences Translate clinical processes and requirements into scalable data models, analytics pipelines, and reporting frameworks that support product growth Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve patient outcomes, pharmacy workflows, and user experience through data-driven insights Support clinical strategy and product decision-making by delivering clear, actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of hands-on SQL experience, including complex queries and data validation Background in healthcare, clinical operations, or healthcare analytics Experience working with clinical data (e.g., EHR, claims, pharmacy, quality measures, or population health data) Experience with healthcare data standards (e.g., ICD-10, CPT, SNOMED, LOINC) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy requirements Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a passion for learning and sharing knowledge Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules as needed Demonstrated can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States to be eligible to apply for this position. Preferred Qualifications Nursing (RN, BSN) or Pharmacist (PharmD, RPh) degree Proficiency in Python, including experience writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for data analysis, automation, or application development. Experience working with health plans and/or pharmaceutical industry Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) Familiarity with healthcare quality metrics, regulatory reporting, or value-based care programs Working Conditions Office environments experience moderate temperatures and humidity, which may fluctuate. Please note this role is based in our D.C. office, with 2 in-office days and 3 remote days per week. Physical Requirements Sitting for extended periods at a desk while working at a computer. Travel Requirements This position may require occasional travel to attend conferences, trade shows, business meetings, or to support operations at other locations. Travel frequency, duration, and mode will depend on business needs and will be communicated in advance whenever possible. Candidates should be comfortable with: Traveling up to 5% of the time. Overnight stays when necessary. Following company travel policies and procedures. Adapting to varying travel schedules, including potential weekend or evening travel, as required. Sitting for extended periods on airplanes or in vehicles, lifting and carrying luggage, navigating long distances through airports and other travel locations independently, and adapting to varying time zones and climates. Note: Travel expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with company policies.
