Senior Partner Marketing Manager Department: Marketing Employment Type: Full Time Location: US, UK or Spain Description CARTO is the leading cloud-native spatial analysis platform. Unlike other GIS systems, CARTO eliminates data fragmentation and technical bottlenecks by letting you build and deploy everything from AI Agents and geospatial workflows to interactive maps directly within your data warehouse. CARTO breaks down the silos between technical and business teams, making spatial analysis accessible to everyone - from technical specialists like data analysts, GIS analysts & developers, to business analysts and decision-makers. This makes Location Intelligence more accessible, scalable, and governable, helping companies turn their data into business value for use cases like optimizing network planning, assessing risk, and identifying growth opportunities. To continue our growth, we are looking for a collaborative Sr Partner Marketing Manager with a passion for technology and data to work with our current cloud partners (Google, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) and our growing network of channel partners (global GSIs). Reporting to the Senior Marketing Director, the ideal candidate will have a clear vision on how to scale demand generation efforts for the partner program at CARTO - and drive measurable results. This role is remote - based in Spain or the UK. You will • Turn our partners into lead generators, working hand in hand with our go-to-market counterparts at a wide range of companies and the CARTO partnerships team to build the GTM strategy, make campaigns happen, and create new opportunities. You don’t just wait for introductions, you go and find potential collaborators who can help us drive demand. • Own campaign execution alongside our partners. You relish the challenge of throwing together a webinar storyline (and presenting it!), writing joint case studies with enterprise clients or storyboarding a video that highlights a specific use case of CARTO + {other technology}. You also build and grow these relationships so that partners love running such initiatives with CARTO because of all the opportunities that come from them. • Be the main point of contact for all things marketing for our partners, constantly collaborating with other members of the marketing team to plan & execute campaigns and weigh in on the marketing-side of things for our wider partnership plans. • Create sales enablement content that allows us to position our value proposition alongside our partners, whether that’s crafting combined value messaging, one pagers, decks, videos or battlecards that enable sellers internally and externally to excel, positioning solutions for use cases such as network optimization, risk analysis, and much more. • Partner with sellers to use outbound strategies to target shared customers, using our marketing and sales stack to effectively book meetings and create opportunities. You are • A strategic Thinker: ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans. • Tech-savvy: With a deep understanding of enterprise software environments, especially Cloud/SaaS analytics/Data warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions, applications & technologies including BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift and Databricks. • Commercial acumen: you are deeply data-driven and care about what moves the needle for pipeline creation, rather than focusing on vanity metrics. • An exceptional communicator: both internally between departments and externally with clients and partners. You make the effort to spend a significant amount of time with sales, pre-sales, customer success, and product teams to gain insights that are relevant to your work. • A gifted copywriter and storyteller: you can translate highly complex technology concepts to compelling stories that our partners, customers, and prospects actually care about. • Customer-centric: obsessed by the needs of our clients, prospects, and partners, constantly learning about how their challenges are evolving. • Thirsty to learn about the Location Intelligence and Data Analytics space: constantly gaining intelligence on existing and new competitors, eager to consume podcasts and webinars or read relevant reports to keep your finger on the pulse of our industry and the enterprises we sell to. When you don’t know how to do something, you just find a way to learn about it. • You have bias for action: you get a buzz out of crossing things off your to-do list, you have the “get it done” attitude. You have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • 5+ years of relevant experience, with 2 or more years of experience working in the SaaS, data, or cloud technology space in a partner marketing role. • Proven track record of cultivating partner marketing relationships. • An ability to translate the value of partnerships into compelling positioning and content. • A track record of creating high-quality content and campaigns for a B2B technology product. • Experience working with sales and marketing teams and technologies such as Salesforce, Hubspot, and Gong (or similar). • A track record of setting and achieving partner marketing goals. • Experience interacting with technical stakeholders at a SaaS company. • Experience working with teams in multiple locations and cultures. • An eye for design and brand guardianship. We offer • Competitive compensation • Opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company, shaping the future of spatial analytics in the AI era • Access to our employee stock options plan • Private medical insurance • Education stipend • Flexible work hours in a focused but casual environment
