We partner with clients worldwide to design and implement practical strategies, data-driven transformations, and technology solutions that drive growth and operational efficiency. Our expertise spans analytics, strategy, technical services, content security, and management consulting. Our Technology & Innovation team owns the cloud-based infrastructure powering Cartesian's analytics initiatives. We build secure portals and modern data pipelines—transitioning legacy workflows into scalable SQL platforms. In partnership with our Strategy & Analytics practice, we integrate applied AI and optimized ETL workflows to deliver high-impact production solutions for our clients. Role Overview We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to take end-to-end ownership of our analytics portals and the data pipelines that power them. In this role, you will build and maintain the entire technical stack—leading the design, migration, and SQL-based transformation of complex workflows while architecting the robust, cloud-based systems that surface insights to our users. With deep analytics DNA, you will leverage React, Python, and AWS serverless to translate high-level stakeholder requirements into discrete technical tasks. This role is ideal for an autonomous builder who values the impact of owning long-lived systems, enjoys mastering both the user experience and the data engine behind it—architecting net-new assets and applying AI capabilities to solve real-world problems. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise What You’ll Do Lead Data Pipeline Design & Migration Own the migration of existing data pipelines into performant, scalable SQL-based workflows in Snowflake Document and refactor legacy processes into maintainable code, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and reliability Design and implement new data pipelines and integrations as new data feeds and business requirements evolve Own the Analytics Platform & Portal Architect and maintain secure portal-based web applications that deliver data products and actionable insights to users Develop modern experiences using React and JavaScript with Python-based backend services on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway) Manage authentication, deployments, monitoring, and CI/CD using AWS services such as Cognito, Amplify, CloudFormation, CodeBuild, and CloudWatch Enable Applied AI & Data Interaction Integrate emerging AI and LLM capabilities into the portal, allowing users to interact with sales and analytics data Prepare and structure data to ensure AI-driven features are accurate, trustworthy, practical, and deliver real business value Act as a Technical Owner & Partner Lead the development of new features and AI integrations while maintaining core systems. Scope ambiguous stakeholder needs into discrete technical tasks and milestones. Influence the technical direction and long-term evolution of platforms Establish best practices around documentation, testing, and maintainability What You’ll Bring Expert SQL and cloud data architecture skills, with a proven ability to scope and justify complex technical solutions Experience owning and migrating ETL / ELT data pipelines, including transitions from legacy or visual ETL tools into SQL-based workflows Experience developing modern web applications using JavaScript, React, and Python Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS (Amplify, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFormation) Experience with RESTful APIs, cloud deployment practices, and automated build pipelines Ability to work autonomously, take ownership of complex systems, and lead technical workstreams Strong communication skills with the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions for stakeholders Additional Skills We Value Experience integrating AI or LLM-based tools (OpenAI API, AWS Bedrock, LangChain) Experience with Alteryx or other visual ETL tools Background in analytics engineering Experience building internal tools or analytics portals Why Join Cartesian?
