We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to oversee and nurture relationships with car dealer customers. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for retention and growth, and delivering tailored solutions to meet client needs. This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively. Master The Platform: Fully understand the features and capabilities of the platform Onboard New Dealers: Stay in contact through their first time buying experience. Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting dealer relationships by understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service. Dealer Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling services/products and collaborate with the outside sales team to drive revenue growth. Dealer Retention: Maintain consistent buying/selling from the dealers within your portfolio Problem Resolution: Address dealer concerns and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on account performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to improve results. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, and the product team, to align client objectives with company goals. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, agreements, and account plans. Flexibility: Adapt and adjust role as needed and requested by leadership team Conflict Resolution: Able to make the “difficult call” Education and Experience Proven experience in account management, sales, or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry. Skills and Competencies Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation abilities. Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools (e.g., HubSpot). Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable strategies. A customer-focused attitude with a passion for delivering excellent service. The range is expressed as total target compensation (base salary + variable). If you are hired at Cars Commerce, your total target compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills and/or experience.
