We’re not just a marketplace — we’re a passionate, fast-moving team redefining how people buy and sell cars online. We’re now hiring an Auction Manager to join our growing team. You’ll work alongside our existing team of Auction Managers to guide sellers through every step of the auction process – from initial submission to final sale – ensuring that each listing is accurate and compelling. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role that blends automotive knowledge, communication skills, and a genuine love of helping others. What You’ll Do Serve as the main point of contact for sellers via chat, email, and phone throughout the auction process Help sellers collect and present key information and media for their listings Guide sellers through a highly emotional and personal process. Our goal is to understand their story and set them up for a successful auction Work with sellers and our expert Valuation Team to assess and communicate current market values Review and verify vehicle details to ensure accuracy and transparency Work closely with our Editorial Team and sellers to build thorough, engaging auction listings and appealing, well-organized photo galleries. Deliver fast, professional, and thoughtful support to every seller Collaborate across teams to continuously improve our platform, tools, and internal processes What We’re Looking For A deep passion for enthusiast cars and the automotive world Strong knowledge of vehicle sales and documentation (titles, transfers, history reports, etc.) Experience providing high-touch customer support in fast-paced settings, ideally at startups, marketplaces, or online platforms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational habits Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.) A collaborative mindset and experience working cross-functionally Adaptability, energy, and enthusiasm for startup-style environments Bonus: An eye for process improvement and a desire to make things better Why Cars & Bids?
