About This Role: Leads seasoned team of category managers, establishing and executing strategic sourcing objectives. Recommends and implements category strategies and networks in support of supply chain strategy. Directs supplier selections, negotiations, and contract administration. Job Description: • Lead CSA Electromechanical team • Drive net cost productivity and supplier resiliency • Establishes critical sourcing strategies; owns the purchasing activities of the company, ensuring continuous improvement. • Develops and implements mid- to long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, etc. • Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and develops sourcing strategies to continuously improve and re-evaluate the purchasing activities of the company. • Directs supplier selection based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and details of suppliers' reputation and history. • Directs negotiations, renegotiations and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives. • Directs negotiations with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
