Full Description

Carrie Dove Catering & Events (www.carriedovecatering.com) is hiring for a full-time Warehouse Assistant at our catering warehouse and kitchen. Weekly schedule may vary but will require weekdays and Saturdays as needed. We will train you! No warehouse experience is needed but you must have a positive attitude, get along well with others, and be motivated to learn and work hard. What we offer: • $20 per hour • Medical, dental & vision insurance • 401k and company match • Paid time off • Free parking • Staff meal Who you are: • 18+ years old and a high school graduate or GED • Able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment • Organized and detail-oriented • Hard-working, helpful, and motivated to do your best • Able to communicate well • Honest, reliable and friendly • Have a valid Driver's License and clean driving record Responsibilities: • Pack and load equipment, food, and beverages • Unload and sort returned items from trucks and return to the appropriate areas • Check-in deliveries to the warehouse and track pick-up by vendors • Run errands such as delivering catered food and equipment to events, and returning rental equipment and vehicles • Take inventory of the warehouse • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of equipment • Occasionally assist with set-up at events • Follow safety procedures Physical Requirements: • Lift, carry, and push up to 50 lbs • Stand and walk for extended periods of time • Reach, bend, and stoop • Climb stairs • Work in environments that may at times be hot, cold or noisy • Drive company vehicles • * If this sounds like you, please apply!
