Position Overview In this role, you'll help our facilities sparkle, shine, and smell fresh! The work you'll do positively impacts everyone. You'll work in an office building and on a manufacturing floor, performing a variety of maintenance and cleaning tasks to keep the buildings looking great. Key Responsibilities • Clean designated building areas (production and office areas), following all safety regulations. This includes employee lunchrooms, bathrooms, and general office areas. • Refill restroom and breakroom supplies when needed. • Empty trash and recycling. • Minor outdoor clean-up as needed (blowing leaves, etc.) • Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects as assigned • Notify management of any occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs Qualifications Required: • Prior custodial experience • Ability to handle equipment and machinery • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, familiarity with Material Safety Data sheets • High level of integrity and the ability to work independently, positive attitude • High school diploma or equivalent • Ability to read, write and understand English Preferred: • Prior experience in a manufacturing setting preferred Physical Requirements Required: • Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Picking, Grasping, Feeling, Talking, Hearing, Repetitive Motions • Close visual acuity • Subject to noise, hazards, and oils. • Lift up to 35 lbs Why Work at Carr Lane Manufacturing?
