We are looking for an amazing Manager, Development Operations to fill this role, which is based in our Fort Lauderdale office. As the Manager of Development Operations for Ecommerce Engineering, you will lead DevOps strategy, cloud infrastructure, and site reliability initiatives to ensure scalable, high-performance platforms. You will mentor engineers, drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation, and enforce security standards across environments. By collaborating cross-functionally to streamline workflows and monitor system health, you will accelerate delivery and optimize the customer experience. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop a team of DevOps engineers. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Manage performance reviews, career development, and training initiatives. Strategic Planning & Execution Define and execute the DevOps strategy aligned with organizational goals. Drive adoption of modern DevOps practices, tools, and automation frameworks. Establish KPIs and metrics to measure efficiency, reliability, and delivery speed. Infrastructure & Automation Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Ensure Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices are standardized and scalable. Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors. CI/CD & Release Management Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines for multiple applications. Ensure smooth, reliable, and secure software releases. Collaborate with development and QA teams to optimize build/test/deploy workflows. Reliability & Security Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices. Drive initiatives to improve system uptime, resilience, and disaster recovery. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with product, engineering, and IT teams to align DevOps initiatives. Act as a bridge between development and operations to reduce silos. Communicate technical strategies and progress to senior leadership. Continuous Improvement Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry trends. Introduce best practices to enhance scalability, performance, and cost efficiency. Champion innovation and experimentation within the team. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred) 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering, with 3+ years in a leadership role Proven expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong background in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions) and scripting (Python, Bash) Experience supporting ecommerce platforms and high-traffic production environments Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Essential Requirements: 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering, with 2–3 years in leadership roles Proven success managing large-scale eCommerce platforms and cloud-native environments Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, monitoring tools, and security protocols Track record of mentoring teams, leading incident response, and driving DevOps transformation This position is considered Hybrid and follows the Company’s schedule of three days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday) Beginning in 2028, this position will remain on the same Tuesday–Thursday in-office schedule but will transition to our new headquarters in the Miami, FL area.
