Join CarMax, where your career can thrive! Job Overview: As a Supply Chain Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency of our operations. Your responsibilities will include vehicle receiving and shipping, inventory management, and lot maintenance—all while providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities: • Execute processes in line with established work instructions and standards. • Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives with your team. • Assist in the training of new associates under the guidance of more experienced colleagues. • Deliver outstanding customer service to both internal teams and external customers. • Ensure daily upkeep and security of display areas and work-in-progress zones. • Safeguard and receive incoming vehicles at CarMax. • Prepare vehicle and title packets for shipping. • Conduct vehicle scanning to maintain accurate product status. • Perform washing and vacuuming for customer returns and loaner vehicles. • Carry out front-lot washing duties. • Manage the Photo Station process. • Drive vehicles to and from various locations for repairs and storage. • Support Auctions as needed. • Maintain cleanliness and organization in accordance with CarMax 5S standards. • Complete any other assigned duties from supervisors and managers. Minimum Qualifications: This position requires: • A valid driver's license that meets CarMax DSEPS standards. • The ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data for maintaining accurate records. • A high school diploma or equivalent experience (preferred). • The capability to follow defined processes and standards. • The ability to complete necessary workstation certifications and training. • The physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs safely. Working Conditions: This role involves working both indoors and outdoors, which may include exposure to noisy or inclement weather. Flexibility in work hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is required. You should be prepared for extended periods of walking or standing in a dynamic environment. You will be expected to wear designated CarMax attire at all times while on duty.
