Schedule: MondayFriday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM Job Summary The Medical Assistant provides support in the examination and treatment of patients/participants under the direction of a physician. Responsibilities • Assist with treatments ordered by the physician, under supervision of a physician or registered nurse. • Perform select clinical duties as assigned. • Interview patients/participants, measure vital signs, and document information in charts. • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations. • Perform basic clerical tasks, including answering phones, maintaining records, and filing. • Manage supplies, including ordering and stocking. • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. Personal Protective Equipment • Follow Standard Precautions and use PPE as required. Education • High school diploma or 1 year of relevant job-specific experience required. • Professional licensure/certification may substitute for education or experience, if applicable. Skills / Licensure • Required Certification: BLS Provider Certification • Strong critical-thinking skills, sound judgment, and ability to work independently. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced or stressful environment.
